Degani launches first product line

https://insidefmcg.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/degani.jpgMelbourne-based cafe, Degani, has launched into the grocery category with the release of its own syrup line.

Degani, founded by entrepreneur, George Pezaros, in 1999 as single bakery cafe in Clifton Hill, has 70 stores, with its new syrup line the first ever product range for the brand.

The range consists of seven syrup flavours, three fruit frappe products and four 250ml retail range of syrups.

Degani CEO, Dan Gallo, says Degani has always manufactured its own coffee beans and sells around one million cups of coffee a month in Melbourne alone, so it was a natural progression to expand the offering and manufacture more to suit discerning customers.

“Degani is a brand and a business with a local feel but a national and international prospect. Over the years, the feedback on our coffee beans has been exceptional so it was a natural progression to start expanding our product line into other much-loved coffee accompaniments,”  said Gallo.

“The new syrup line will be served in every Degani, over 70 stores nationwide, to offer our customers a varied range of coffees and cool drinks.

“We have also manufactured and launched a ‘take-home’ version and have four different flavours as part of the retail range which caters to those customers who wish to emulate our great tasting Degani coffee at home.”

The new Degani products are gluten and artificial colouring free and will be available to consumers from March 2015 instore.
