Nominations open for Minister For Thirst

Screen Shot 2015-03-05 at 10.15.17 AMThirsty Camel bottleshops has launched an integrated campaign searching for a Minister for Thirst, with nominations for the newly created role now open.

The successful candidate wilk receives a $20,000 ‘ministerial package’ including $5000 cash for ‘expenses’, VIP sporting and event junkets, monthly Thirsty Camel beverage packages, and their appointment is proclaimed on a billboard in their area.

People can nominate themselves or a friend online. Ministerial candidates will then be shortlisted and the people will be invited to vote for their official Minister for Thirst.

Leah Grinter, Thirsty Camel Marketing Director says, “after the success of the Beer O’Clock Project in late 2013, we wanted to take things a step further, and that’s Minister for Thirst.

We’re all about irreverence, and we take thirst very seriously too, so this ministerial role is a perfect fit for our brand.”

The campaign is supported by TV, radio, print, outdoor, and and digital advertising.

Nominations are open until March 29, with the first 10,000 entrants to receive an official Minister for Thirst stubby holder.
