Fonterra shakes up management

handshake on blue sky and sunlightFonterra Co-operative Group has made two executive changes within its management team.

Jacqueline Chow, MD global brands and nutrition at Fonterra, has been appointed to the newly created role of COO Velocity, effective June 1.

Fonterra CEO, Theo Spierings said: “In her new role, Jacqueline will lead the next stage of Fonterra’s evolution, working across the entire Co-operative to push forward the Velocity part of our V3 strategy and deliver the best possible performance.”

In another appointment, Johan Priem, Fonterra’s president Greater China, will take on the additional role of MD Asia Middle East and Africa from August 1.

Spierings said Priem is ideally placed to take on this additional role given he has previously held senior leadership positions in Asia, Middle East, and Africa for Fonterra and other companies.

Following Chow’s appointment, senior executive in the global brands and nutrition team, Rene Dedoncker, has been named as acting MD global brands and nutrition, from June 1.
