Green and gold for Mater’s

rsz_matersAustralian maternity service, Mater Mothers’ Hospitals (MMS), has announced that official Australian Made and Owned certification has been granted to their portfolio of maternity and baby skin care products.

Produced locally in South East Queensland, the range includes baby moisturiser, baby wash, nappy balm, and body balm for pregnancy.

Maree Reynolds, Director-Women’s Health Services, MMS, said she was excited to see the Mater line achieve this distinction.

“We are committed to ensuring that our products are not only the best quality for mothers and babies, but also that the products are made locally using trustworthy ingredients,” she said.

“We are very proud that our maternity and baby skin care products will now wear the Australian made logo.”

The announcement comes as the company recently received global recognition at the 2015 Stevie International Business Awards, where its nappies were awarded gold in the category for best new health and pharmaceuticals’ product of the year, and silver for best new consumer product.

The Mater maternity and baby care product range is available at selected IGA and Supa IGA stores in Queensland, and at selected pharmacy stores nationally.
