Virgin Australia Group CEO and MD, John Borghetti, has joined Coca-Cola Amatil’s board as a non-executive director, effective December 1, 2015.
Borghetti has been the head of Virgin Australia since May 2010, and also serves as a director of Energy Australia, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, and the NSW Customer Advisory Board.
“John brings highly relevant consumer and listed company leadership experience to CCA, including working with successfully large partners and operating across a range of international markets,” David Gonski, Coca-Cola Amatil chairman, said.
“He provides an excellent complement to the skills and backgrounds we have already at our board table,” Gonski said.
Borghetti has also previously served as a director of Jetset Travelworld, Sydney FC, Piper Aircraft (USA), The Australian Ballet, and CARE Australia.
