Australia’s largest dairy producer, Murray Goulburn, says dairy prices are recovering from their lows.
“We do expect this upward trend to continue as we progress through the remainder of this financial year,” Philip Tracy, chairman, Murray Goulburn, told shareholders at the dairy co-operative’s annual general meeting on Monday.
Tracy also said current dry conditions were a concern, but the strength of farm gate milk prices over the past few years meant most farmers could manage the dry spell.
