Cadbury partners with Paralympics

cadburyCadbury has announced their partnership with the 2016 Australian Paralympic Team, in the lead up to the games which will be held in Rio next September.

The news comes following last month’s announcement of their Australian Olympic team sponsorship, with their “Bring on the Joy” campaign set to link both endeavours.

The company says these partnerships are designed to ignite excitement, and empower all athletes as they set out to achieve their sporting goals.

“The Australian Paralympic Team is made up of a group of remarkably high-performing athletes who inspire and excite all Australians. We want to empower all athletes in their quest for success,” said
Lauren Fildes, head of strategic partnerships and events, Cadbury.

“Regardless of their abilities or disabilities, all of our athletes in Rio have the ability to ‘Bring on the Joy’ and we are immensely proud to support both teams and help free the joy that they will undoubtedly bring to the nation through their accomplishments.”

As part of the sponsorship, the company will kick off a campaign activation in February of next year to bolster support for the 170 Paralympic athletes set to compete.
