Slim Secrets’ weighty celebration

slim-secretsAustralian snack company, Slim Secrets, is celebrating  ten years since its inception into the health food market.

Conceived in response to the lack of nutritional snacks available in supermarket aisles, company founder, Sharon Thurin, turned to experts in the food and nutrition industry to develop a range of convenient and satiating products that provided customers with an optimum balance of carbohydrates, protein and fibre.

Starting from modest beginnings, the range now encompasses a selection of 21 items including protein bars, cookies, low-carb fit balls, protein shakes, and a recently released chia seed dessert, Protein Puds.

Thurin says that it has taken commitment and hard work to develop the lifestyle brand into what it is today, citing her close-knit team of employees as integral in driving the brand’s success.

The expansion of the company’s export market is testament to this, with the line now distributed in over 15 countries including the UK,  New Zealand, Singapore, and the UAE.

Locally, Slim Secrets is available in Coles, Woolworths, Target, Newslinks, leading health food outlets, pharmacies, and gyms.
