Harris Farm opens new flagship

harrisfarmfeatureHarris Farm Markets has opened the largest store in the company’s 44 year history, opening the doors to its new flagship in Sydney’s inner west suburb of Drummoyne.

The family-owned business says the store takes inspiration from its successful sister store in Bowral with an artisan market style.

The Drummoyne flagship features a deli, coffee and sandwich bar provided by Salt, Meats, Cheese. It also includes a large floral section, seafood section provided by Sydney Fresh Seafoods and boutique premium butcher Hudson Meats.

The store represents the first Harris Farm to offer a boutique wine and craft beer section. A cheese and entertaining cave is also part of the new venture with Harris Farm Markets co-CEO, TristanHarris, asserting the store reflects the continued goal of creating authentic village feeling within stores.

“We know that authentic shopping experiences are extremely important for our customers and we wanted to keep that down-to-earth feeling in our stores that we’ve always been famous for. Expanding our offering while staying true to our roots is our goal, so we’re proud of our new flagship as that’s what we’ve achieved,” Harris said.

The Drummoyne store is the second Harris Farm store in the inner-west in conjunction with the existing Broadway store. There are sixty undercover parking spaces beneath the building available for ninety minutes.
