Nestlé USA has announced a voluntary recall of a limited number of products because of “the potential presence of glass pieces.”
“We are recalling these products because they may contain small pieces of glass that may cause injury. Although our investigation is ongoing, we believe the source of the glass is spinach that was an ingredient common to the products subject to this recall,” the food and beverage giant said in a press release.
The recall affects DiGiorno, Lean Cuisine and Stouffer’s products. Several consumers reported that they had found small pieces of glass in some of these products.
No injuries have been reported to date.
