Red Rock Deli wins flavour of the year

Red DeliRed Rock Deli’s Sweet Potato Crisps range received the Flavour of the Year award last night at the 2017 Product of the Year (POY) event.

The potato chips was nominated under the Savoury Snacks category. The award giving body surveyed about 14,000 Australian consumers.

“We’re delighted that consumers recognise Red Rock Deli Sweet Potato Crisps as the best in the category. The launch of [potato chips range] was a great innovation, introducing many new consumers to the category. [It] has added an impressive $14 million to the Salty Snacks category since launch,” said Cath Archer, Red Rock Deli’s marketing manager.

“Our food-curious consumers are always searching for special new taste experiences, and the success of Red Rock Deli Sweet Potato Crisps has been built on providing a deliciously sweet and indulgent chip perfectly paired with flavour combinations that capture our consumers’ imaginations.”

Red Rock Deli’s delicious range of crunchy deli-style Sweet Potato Crisps are prepared using the finest quality sweet potatoes seasoned with roast garlic; rosemary and thyme; sweet Spanish paprika and sea salt. They are cooked in 100 per cent sunflower oil and contains no artificial flavours, preservatives or added MSG.
