Woolworths Bondi Junction unveils fresh new look

Woolies BondiWoolworths Bondi Junction store has announced its plans to transform the design of the supermarket branch in Sydney’s Eastern.

Customers will see a new meat servery, an improved Kosher department and enhanced specialty cheese range.

The supermarket giant’s fresh new look has given more job opportunities to the local area, with the addition of 19 new team members—including four Indigenous members employed through Woolworths’ Resourcing the Future program.

“The store has been designed with the customer at its heart following a great deal of time spent understanding what local shoppers are looking for. Our aim is to always provide great quality, value and fresh options for all our customers and to make meal shopping and preparation easier. As a result of the renewal, our local customers can look forward to a transformed, modern and contemporary shopping experience,” said Woolworths Bondi Junction store manager, Maurizio Spaziani said.

The grocery hosted a cheese appreciation class to highlight the enhanced specialty cheese range, and a meat appreciation class with Woolworths butcher, Lachlan Bowtell. Rabbi Moshe Gutnick and Rabbi Aaron Groner, both from the Kosher Food Authority, were on hand to officially relaunch the Kosher department.

“With 100 per cent of our fresh meat and 96 per cent of fresh fruit and vegetables sourced from Australia, the new look store has been designed to also showcase the wonderful seasonality of our produce and provide further food inspiration for our customers,” added Spaziani.
