CHIA Super Juice launches in Australia

ChiaCHIA has announced it is officially launching its Super Juice product range in Australia for the health-conscious consumers.

Using Australian grown chia seeds and real fruit from New Zealand, CHIA combines the cross-Tasman ingredients to pack a powerful and nourishing boost.

After noticing a gap in the market for sports drinks that weren’t packed full of sugar, salt and artificial ingredients, neuroscientist turned wellpreneur Chloe Van Dyke wondered why there wasn’t already a product that was made with chia seeds, and started trialing the hydration of chia seeds with different liquids.

“CHIA was born out of my desire to design a delicious, nourishing beverage that has real ingredients and real benefits. The chia seed is well known for its super food qualities when hydrated, and I wanted to bring this to life through the CHIA drinks,” said founder Chloe Van Dyke.

CHIA is available in five flavours including Blackcurrant, Blueberry, Orange and Passionfruit, Coconut Water and Mango, and Feijoa and Pink Guava. The first chia beverage in Australia, the new drink is 100 per cent natural and free of gluten, refined sugar and preservatives. Originally designed as an endurance and recovery drink for athletes, it is ideal for athletes, parents, children, professionals and the health-conscious alike.

Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, fibre, iron, calcium, protein and magnesium, the hydrated chia seeds in CHIA are proven to help the body absorb all the goodness chia seeds have to offer. When soaked, chia seeds activate, maximising its benefits – keeping consumers fuller and hydrated for longer.

Wanting to pursue a career in the health and well-being industry, Chloe’s sister Florence Van Dyke, joined the team in 2015, after quitting her corporate job as a solicitor. Together, the sisters are on a mission to provide consumers a natural beverage for sustained energy and increased well-being.

“CHIA fueled me through my training and racing days, and I want others to enjoy what the products can do for your performance. We’ve seen such a positive response to CHIA in New Zealand and can’t wait for Australian consumers to enjoy our innovative health drink – made from their very own chia seed,” said the former athlete.

The products can be purchased from leading health food stores and independent grocers in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra for $4.99.
