Kettle’s licensee Snack Brands Australia facing potential backlash with shoppers after it was forced to issue a recall of several products in Victoria and NSW following reports of rubber pieces in products.
Kettle‘s Sea Salt and Rosemary flavours are being pulled from Coles and Woolworths and a broader recall has been issued by the Department of Primary Industries’ Food Authority.
The products affected are those marked with best-before dates on November 11 2017.
“Snack Brands Australia has recalled Kettle Sea Salt and Kettle Rosemary and Sea Salt from Coles and Woolworths stores in NSW and Victoria due to the potential presence of foreign matter (white rubber pieces),” a Snack Brands Australia statement said.
Snack Brands Australia urged customers to return the products to their supermarkets for a refund. Consumers can also contact the snack company at 1800 806 128 or via their website www.snackbrands.com.au.
