Moro Olive Oil launches brand overhaul

Moro Olive Oil bottlesMoro Olive Oil has launched its first biggest brand overhaul in 26 years.

The olive oil will have new packaging designs and bottle shapes, introduces new pop up pourers for extra virgin olive oil. Moro also created new vinegar ranges and a new 250ml pack size for Moro Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, White Wine and Red Wine Vinegars.

“As Australia’s number one brand of olive oil, Moro has a commitment to exceptional quality and the recent update of our packaging design and functionality is in line with this”, explained Moro Brand manager, Nicole Puhar.

Moro is an Australian, family-owned brand produces high quality olive oil from Spain to Australian homes and restaurants.

“This major brand refresh, which is the first since 1991, was developed to reflect the quality the Moro brand is known for. We are also proud that Moro has recently become the first olive oil brand to receive the Australian Olive Oil Association (AOOA) Quality Seal certification,” said Puhar.

“The AOOA quality seal logo, rolling out across Moro’s Olive Oil packaging, is Australia’s first Certified Quality Seal Program established to recognise and promote olive oils that measure up to the global industry standards of excellence.

“The seal signifies that Moro complies with the globally accepted quality standard for olive oil, as the AOOA follows the International Olive Council standards. This is a great time to be celebrating a brand Australians love, a quality range of products we’re really proud of with a beautiful new look.”

Moro was founded in 1845, and began being sold in Australia in 1960 when olive oil was still considered an exotic ingredient only to be purchased as an expensive “health tonic” in chemists.
