Ocean Spray launches new on-the-go drinks

Ocean Spray Cranberry ClassicOcean Spray has unveiled a new on-the-go drink with Ocean Spray Cranberry Classic and Ocean Spray Cranberry Light cranberry fruit drinks in single-serve 320ml bottles. The new beverages will be available in select Petrol & Convenience (P&C) retailers beginning January 2018.

With the introduction of these two single-serves, Ocean Spray has made it more convenient for consumers to enjoy the refreshing taste and super fruit benefits of cranberries as part of Australians’ increasingly busy lifestyles.

“We are excited to introduce Ocean Spray Cranberry Classic and Cranberry Light 320ml Single Serve formats into P&C. On-the-go consumption is on the rise in Australia and people continue to look for more accessible, good-for-you beverage & snacking options. This will make it easier to enjoy the super fruit’s refreshing taste and functional health benefits, with each 250ml serve containing the antioxidant power from the juice of 55 cranberries,” said David Wingate, Category Business Development manager at Ocean Spray.

“Ocean Spray Cranberry Light is on-trend, meeting Australians’ continued demand for low-sugar beverage options, offering the unique cleanse & purify benefits of cranberries, with only 20 calories per 250ml serve and no added sugar.”

Ocean Spray will be supported by a new 2018 national advertising campaign rolling out across TV, Magazines, Social Media and In-Store Point-of-Sale. The latest addition of Ocean Spray single serve beverages is part of an ongoing commitment to providing more flexible and convenient options for consumers. This was supported with the launch of Ocean Spray ‘Grab & Go’ Craisins Dried Cranberries in mid-2017 with the following varieties:

  • Craisins Dried Cranberries Original, 85g
  • Craisins Dried Cranberries Greek Style Yoghurt, 85g
  • Craisins Dried Cranberries Milk Chocolate, 85g
  • Craisins Dried Cranberries Trail Mix Fruit & Nut, 85g

“Retailers and food service outlets expect suppliers to provide solutions for consumers’ ever-changing eating trends and the introduction of Ocean Spray juices in Single Serve addresses this change in consumption. As the global leader of cranberry juice products in over 100 countries with more than 85 years’ experience, we look forward to continuing our expansion in Australia into the P&C market,” Wingate added.

Ocean Spray Cranberry Classic and Ocean Spray Cranberry Light 320ml single serves will be available in select P&C retailers beginning January 2018, with each 320ml bottle to retail competitively with other offers in the impulse fridge.
