Thirsty Camel reveals $1 million dollar promo

Thirsty Camel shopThirsty Camel bottleshops has collaborated up with Nova and Australia’s Drive Team Kate, Tim and Marty, to give away $1 million dollars in a radio promotion.

The liquor company announced in a statement the on-air promotion aptly named Camel Snatch will see 9 listeners and one well-fed camel gather in a field, where Kate, Tim and Marty have marked out a numbered grid.

“We’re delighted to be partnering with Nova and Kate, Tim and Marty for Grown Up Easter Treats again in 2018. The campaign builds on the success of our 2017 initiative and promises to again deliver exceptional sales results for our retailers and our supplier partners across our network of over 380 bottleshops nationally. Camel Snatch truly captures the irreverent nature of the Thirsty Camel brand; we’re proud to be part of such an innovative radio-first and hope to give one lucky listener a life-changing million dollars,” Liquor Alliance – Thirsty Camel national general manager, Michael Ismailoglu said.

Thirsty Camel said the camel will be let loose to do its business, and depending on which square it ‘lands’, one lucky listener will have the chance to snatch a plush camel from a spinning wheel and possibly win one million dollars. The tactic forms part of Thirsty Camel’s national ‘Grown Up Easter Treats’ campaign. Partnering with key suppliers and brands, it will run across the Nova radio network, and more than 40 key regional radio stations throughout March, supported by digital and social advertising and in store activation.
