Smoothie bar, Boost Juice, and Australia’s iconic spread Vegemite has launched the new Vegemite Boost.
Boost Juice and Vegemite said in a statement the Vegemite Boost is a delicious smoothie that combines chocolate, vanilla yoghurt, banana and a hint of Vegemite.
Claire Lauber, managing director of Boost Juice, is excited to bring this unique and never before offered smoothie flavour to the Australian public.
“Vegemite really is a quintessential Australian favourite that many of our customers grew up with. When we first thought of the idea for a Vegemite flavoured smoothie, we knew it was pretty out there. However, Vegemite, when combined with the chocolate, banana and dates, really is delicious. The flavour profile is actually very similar to salted caramel – with an awesome Aussie twist, of course,” Lauber said.
The Vegemite Boost will be available as part of Boost Juice’s Aussie Milk Bar range, a new range of smoothies made with real fruit and an added twist. The different flavours include the Vegemite Boost and other Aussie classics, Rocky Road and Cookies & Creme.
Joanne Bradley, chief marketing officer at Boost Juice, said this unique take on a classic Australian favourite will be sure to excite customers.

The Vegemite Boost is available in Boost Juice stores nationally until 1 July 2018.
