The supermarket chain this week announced the gourmet health-food range has grown to exceed 350 products, with beetroot latte, hemp products, fava beans and banana flour now thrown into the mix.
Kate Walker, Woolworths Macro brand manager said the group keeps a close eye on what’s going on in the health and wellness area to ensure products meet customer demand.
“We understand that everyone is on a different health journey, so making nutritious foods readily accessible is paramount in helping Aussies live healthier lives,” she said. “Our customers also live busy lives which is why we work closely with our team of nutritionists to ensure our new range features an assortment of healthier on-the-go foods at affordable prices. These include our nutritious adult snack packs and healthy heat-and-eat soups.”
This latest launch features a complete hemp range that includes seeds, flour, protein powder and chips; a 300g banana flour and a fava bean snack range for kids.
Woolworths intends to add to more product ranges to the mix in the coming months.
