Woombye Cheese Company has pulled its assorted cheese products from fresh food markets, grocers, independents and selected IGA stores in NSW and QLD due to high E.coli count.

The NSW Food Authority said in a statement, food products contaminated with E.coli may cause illness if consumed.
Escherichia coli (E. coli) are bacteria found in the environment, foods, and intestines of people and animals. E. coli are a large and diverse group of bacteria.
Although most strains of E. coli are harmless, others can make you sick. Some kinds of E. coli can cause diarrhea, while others cause urinary tract infections, respiratory illness and pneumonia, and other illnesses.
Consumers are advised not to eat this product and should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
