a2 extends China milk deal

MG8_7381-768x516The a2 Milk Company has announced that it is extending its strategic arrangements with China State Farm Holding Shanghai (CSFA Shanghai) for a further three-year period from 6 December 2018.

CSFA Shanghai have been the exclusive import agent and partner for a2 Milk infant nutrition products into China and have provided local market regulation, consultation and product traceability quality control.

An official signing ceremony was held at Parliament House in Canberra hosted by the Federal Minister for Trade, Tourism & Investment.

General Manager for CSFA Shanghai Zhao Qing Yong and a2 Milk CEO Jayne Hrdlicka were in attendance, alongside executives from both businesses.

Hrdlicka spoke of the important relationship with CSFA Shanghai and said that they continue to value their strong support, local knowledge and relationships within the China market.

“Today signals a continuation of a very successful working relationship and partnership between the two entities, ” she said.

Zhao Qing Yong said CSFA was honoured to continue the partnership with a2.

“China State Farm is delighted and honoured to continue our relationship and partnership with a company that has achieved such unique success in the China market, as together we bring the very high quality infant nutrition to Chinese consumers. This renewal signals the strength of our long-term partnership and we look forward to the future with great excitement,” he said.
