Coles announces final swap day
This Saturday, 45 Coles stores across the country will take part in a second and final Little Shop Swap day.
Over the past seven weeks, Aussie shoppers have been collecting the popular miniature shopping items and swapping with others to complete a full set.
Thousands turned out for the first swap event in August, with the scene at the Westfield Eastgardens store described as “mayhem”.
The Little Shop promotion was due to end in late August, but it was extended while stocks last.
The collectables are quickly running out but there are a limited number available at Coles supermarkets, with customers able to collect one free miniature grocery item for every $30 spent.
Among the minis are fewer than 400 little “Big Red Hands” to be found which award shoppers with a $100 Coles supermarket voucher.
