Alcohol recalled over fears of chemical contamination

alcoholGJ Wholesale has recalled its alcohol products over fears of potential chemical contamination.

The products sold in retail liquor stores in Queensland, NSW and the ACT include 700 millilitre bottles of Veruschka Vodka, Mississippi Bourbon, Los Cabos Tequila, Yachtsman White Rum, Mudgee Rum, Barman’s Choice Whisky, Hunter Brandy and Her Choice Gin. The affected products are labelled “Supplied to and bottled in Australia for G J Wholesale”.

NSW Health has advised that products with chemical contamination may cause injury if consumed. Consumers should return these products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
