The Australian dollar has fallen Monday and was trading at 71.12 US cents, down from its highs of last week when it topped 72 cents.
One Australian dollar buys 79.75 Japanese yen, from 80.08 ; 61.57 euro cents, from 60.14 ; 54.28 British pence, from 53.83 and 109.24 NZ cents, from 109.30.
