The Australian dollar has risen slightly over the last week, buying 70.49 US cents from 70.06 US cents last Thursday.
The Aussie dollar also bought $1.049 New Zealand dollars, 4.848 Chinese yuan, 77.31 Japanese yen, 55.27 British pence and 61.47 euro cents.
