The Australian dollar has fallen Tuesday, buying 71.33 US cents at 0800 AEDT from 71.50 US cents on Monday.
Yesterday, the Australian dollar soared to one and a half week peaks after strong gains last week as hopes of some resolution in the protracted Sino-US trade war and expectations of expansionary global monetary policy sparked a rally in riskier assets.
