The Australian dollar has declined Friday, buying 70.78 US cents from 71.00 US cents on Thursday.
On Wednesday the Reserve Bank of New Zealand said it is now more likely to lower interest rates than raise them, a dovish statement that led to a plunge in both the Australian and New Zealand dollars.
