In news this week, confectionery giant Mondelez confirmed the switch to sustainable cocoa for its Toblerone and Cadbury brands to help address the problem of climate change.
Earlier this year, we also saw Coca Cola Amatil switch to sustainable sugar, with MD Alison Watkins describing the move as a good environmental and commercial decision for the company.
However, experts have recently warned we have made a good start, but it’s not enough calling for a longer-term approach when it comes to sustainability.
