Edward’s Oil introduces Australia’s first chemical free Cold Pressed Canola Oil
Edward’s Oil, has launched Australia’s first chemical free Cold Pressed Canola Oil into Woolworths supermarkets.
The Aussie start-up has launched two GMO free variations of Cold Pressed Canola Oil: ‘First Pressed’ and Naturally ‘Filtered’ which are both suitable for baking, frying, roasting and everyday cooking.
The products are 100 per cent Australian made and combine the health benefits of a chemical-free cold pressed oil, with the functional cooking benefits of a highly processed oil.
Edward’s Oil founders, Edward Garrow and Marc Schwartz, source canola only from the Cootamundra, NSW region and guarantee traceability from farm to bottle.
“Most other cooking oils on the market are heavily processed – meaning heat pressed, chemically refined, bleached and deodorised,” explains Edward Garrow, founder and CEO of Edward’s Oil.
“Our premium quality Cold Pressed Canola Oil is a healthier and more affordable substitute to olive oil… With a higher smoke point, 50 per cent less saturated fat, richer in Vitamin E and Omega-3 with a more balanced Omega 3 to Omega 6 ratio.”
Both varieties of Edward’s Oil is available at Woolworths stores nationwide in a premium 750ml glass bottle for $9.00.
