Bubs Australia has signed a deal with China’s largest mother and baby store Kidswant, which will see its organic baby food products ranged in 275 of its stores.
The strategic partnership is the first major project of its joint venture with Beingmate established last month and will see the Australian infant formula business present in 123 cities across China.
The partnership is expected to deliver upwards of $6.2 million in retail sales within FY20.
“We are delighted to establish this strategic partnership with Kidswant, the No.1 baby store chain in China,” Bubs chief executive Kristy Carr said in a statement.
“Kidswant’s store footprint and full-service integrated membership model provides us with immediate access to our core potential customers in a trusted ecosystem.”
Kidswant is an omni-channel family service provider that offers maternal and baby goods and services and is the market leader in infant and child retail in China.
Bubs Australia is the leading producer of goat dairy products in Australia and has lifted its profile in China by aligning with one of the largest Chinese owned enterprises in the infant nutrition industry.
