The Australian dollar has risen Thursday, buying 70.34 US cents from 69.94 US cents on Wednesday.
Yesterday morning, the local currency was at 69.93 US cents from 69.80 US cents on Tuesday.
It was pinned near one-week lows as the country’s central bank cut its benchmark cash rate in a widely expected move and signalled it could go again, if needed.
