Almo whips up vegan almond creme

Almond milk brand Almo has launched a new liquid creme made with 100 per cent Australian Almonds to allow consumers to create their own milk at home.

Almo Crème forms the base of the company’s unsweetened Almo Milk and when mixed with water and blended it can create about 5 litres of almond milk.

“At Almo, we focus on simplicity. Our clean ingredients, labels and local manufacturing processes are a true representation of what we stand for as a brand,” Almo Crème founder Linda Monique said in a statement.

“For us it’s about health over profit, environment over profit and quality over profit. We believe that products can be functional, delicious and sustainable, while also packing a nutritious punch.”

Monique said it “made sense” to give consumers the opportunity to make their own Almo at home.

Almo Crème is vegan and dairy free and available for RRP A$15.00 from the company’s website. It’s Almo Unsweetened 1 litre Almond milk is available for RRP A$6.00 from Woolworths in Victoria, Harris Farm in NSW, health food and independent stores in Australia.
