The Australian dollar has risen Tuesday, buying 67.76 US cents from 67.50 US cents on Monday.
Yesterday, the local currency received another lashing as a tit-for-tat escalation in the Sino-US trade war led nervous investors to the safety of bonds and the Japanese yen.
