Hendrick’s unveils limited edition Midsummer Solstice Gin
Hendrick’s has launched a new limited edition gin, Midsummer Solstice.
The liquor company said it’s its first innovation in
Australia since its flagship gin was released in the market over 20 years ago.
The new gin puts a floral twist on the original Hendrick’s Gin recipe “inspired by nature’s most effervescent blooms” ideal for light drinking.
Hendrick’s has transformed Sydney’s iconic Paddo Inn for a one-of-its-kind takeover encouraging Sydneysiders to sample the new drink. Paddo Inn will be renamed to Paddo (G)inn as local flower artist, Dr Lisa Cooper, transforms the venue using the concept of Midsummer Solstice.
“It would not be a Hendrick’s Gin affair without unusualness and curiosity. Following conversations with Master Distiller, Lesley Gracie around the composition of summer blooms she has distilled in this extraordinary gin, I knew I must create a spectacle, a manifestation of summer,” Dr Lisa Cooper, local flower artist and Hendrick’s Midsummer Solstice ambassador, said.
“It has been utterly thrilling to translate the ambience, complexity and beauty of this wonderful gin, in order for it to be seen, touched and experienced in all its exquisite, sensory glory.”
Hendrick’s Midsummer Solstice will be available for a limited time in liquor stores and bars nationally.
