H2coco rebrands ahead of launch in the US

Drinks brand H2coco has rebranded to H2 and revealed plans for a launch into the US. The coconut water brand plans to introduce H2coco Pure Pink Coconut Water, H2melon watermelon water and H2nana banana water to US consumers.

The company is planning to raise $5 million via equity crowdfunding platform, VentureCrowd, in addition to private equity. Australian radio host and H2 investor Kyle Sandilands and Toby Browne, founder and chair of Pharmacare are already investors in the business.

H2 has confirmed product ranging with major retailers and over 10 independent retailers in California and Texas including Gelson’s, H-E-B. and Central Market upon launch. It will be also distributed via United Natural Foods, Incorporated (UNFI), KeHE Distributors (KeHE), DPI Specialty Foods.

The drinks company decided to rebrand as H2 – which stands for ‘Health 2 U’ to represent how the company’s expansion into new categories such as products under H2brain&body which is based on consumer awareness of mental wellbeing and performance.
