Daigou retailer AuMake has appointed former Swisse Wellness and Treasury Wine director Oliver Horn to its board.
Horn was Swisse’s local managing director and previously led Treasury’s integration of Diageo’s wine asset.
AuMake said Horn’s extensive experience in premium brand building, servicing Chinese consumers in Australia and knowledge of the vitamins, minerals and supplements category will be an asset to the Board and management team.
He will be joined by Asian tourism professional Jacky Yang, filling the spots of Gang Xu and Lingye Zheng who recently retired.
The daigou-focused retailer said their arrival demonstrates “the growing strength of AuMake and its progression to becoming a highly profitable and scalable Asian tourist focused business.”
