Weet-Bix teams up with Gelatissimo on new flavour

Gelatissimo has launched a range of Aussie Family Favourites which features a collaboration with leading breakfast brand Weet-Bix.

The gelato retailer teamed up with Weet-Bix to create a new flavour, which combines banana gelato with Weet-Bix chunks and Australian wildflower honey.

“There’s nothing better than a quintessential Australian summer, cooling down from the heat with a scoop of gelato,” says Gelatissimo CEO Filipe Barbosa.

“So coming into December, we wanted to create a range that was just that – undeniably Aussie.”

The range also includes Choc Crackle flavour, which is a rich chocolate gelato with chocolate crackle clusters, drizzled in a rich chocolate sauce, and Fairy Bread flavour, which is a buttery vanilla gelato sprinkled with 100s and 1000s and toasted fairy bread.

Gelato Messina introduces Gelato Ale

The good news is, the latest summer gelato creations aren’t just for kids.

Gelato Messina teamed up with Australian Brewery to create a limited edition dulce de leche beer.

The beer is described as “a complex malt character combined with the smooth and creamy nature of dulce de leche”.

Gelato Messina produces its own Dulce de Leche in house, which is used in all gelato production, baking, jarring for stores, and now for beer.

The Gelato Ale hits Dan Murphy’s, select BWS stores and other leading liquor retailers and pubs in NSW from December 1.
