Carman’s introduces kids’ snack with a 4.5 health star rating

Australian cereal and snack brand Carman’s has created a new range of muesli bars to cater for kids’ lunchboxes. Aussie Oat Bars have been introduced in four flavours including Brownie with Choc, Apple Pie & Custard, Choc Caramel and Strawbs & Cream.

Carman’s founder Carolyn Creswell got her own family involved in the development of the bars to ensure they got the formula right.

“My kids have treated this more seriously than any school assignment. There have been many iterations of Aussie Oat Bars – the ingredients, flavour and design have all been extensively thought about. The main aim with kids is to get the flavours right, but we want parents to love them too,” Creswell said.

The snacks, which have a 4.5 star health star rating, contain less than 4g sugar and do not contain artificial colours or flavours.

The customisable wrappers include a panel on which parents can write a short personal message to their little one.

“I’m particularly excited about this launch, because people have been wanting lunchbox friendly Carman’s muesli bars, and in child-friendly sizes, for years. We just wanted to get them absolutely right,” said Creswell.

All four flavours of Aussie Oat Bars are available at Woolworths for RRP A$5.
