The Australian dollar dropped on Monday morning, with one Australian dollar buying 59.98 US cents at 0800 AEDT on Monday, down from 60.63 US cents at the close of market on Friday.
One Australian dollar also buys 60.15 US cents; 65.20 Japanese yen; 55.63 euro cents; 49.02 British pence and 102.44 NZ cents.
