The Australian dollar has fallen on Wednesday, with the dollar buying 61.69 US cents at 0800 AEST, down from 61.84 US cents at the close of markets on Tuesday.
One Australian dollar also buys 67.09 Japanese yen; 56.65 euro cents; 50.00 British pence and 103.27 NZ cents.
