Table of Plenty unveils probiotic breakfast

Family-owned business Table of Plenty has unveiled a new Functional Breakfast Range and Probiotic Kefir. The breakfast range features four variants including Probiotic+ Muesli, Balance+ Muesli, Immunity+ Porridge and Probiotic+ Porridge. The Probiotic Kefir is a pourable yoghurt that contains probiotic microorganisms and is high in protein.

“All the mueslis and porridges have been carefully crafted from natural ingredients to provide busy families with a nourishing and positive way to start the day. They’re enriched with carefully selected functional ingredients that support overall wellness and they taste good too,” Table of Plenty founder Kate Weiss said.

“For centuries, people have enjoyed kefir and reaped the rewards of digesting good bacteria. Kefir is derived from the Turkish word ‘keyif’, which roughly translates to ‘good feeling’. Now Australians can enjoy kefir as an alternative to milk or regular yoghurt. It’s almost the kombucha of the dairy world.”

The Kefir is created from the fresh milk of grass-fed cows in Gippsland which the brand said gives it its creamy texture.

Table of Plenty’s Functional Breakfast Range and Probiotic Kefir range is sold exclusively in Coles nationally.
