Recall update: Shore Mariner Seafood Sticks 

Markwell Foods has recalled its Shore Mariner Seafood Sticks 1kg due to the presence of an undeclared allergen. 

Product details:

  • Shore Mariner Seafood Sticks 1kg.
  • All best before dates up to and including June 2022 (excluding product already re-labelled to include egg and soy declaration).

The NSW Food Authority said that the Shore Mariner Seafood Sticks products were recalled due to an undeclared allergen (egg and soy). Consuming the product may cause reaction to people who have allergy or intolerance with egg or soy.

The authority advises consumers, who have an egg or soy allergy or intolerance, not to consume and return the product to the place of purchase for refund. 

The products have been sold at Woolworth stores across the country.
