The ‘Maggie’s Food for Life’ range will feature a selection of plant-based ready meals including Boston Style Smoky Beans, Creamy Coconut Curry with Mild Indian Spices, Eggplant & Cannellini Bean Caponata and Mixed Grain & Beetroot Medley. Maggie Beer said the launch into Coles is an important step in the company’s strategy to grow its ranging in the prepared-meals category.

“Our expansion in prepared meals is consistent with our strategy to focus on our core brand strengths,” said Chantale Millard, CEO at Maggie Beer.” Our better-for-you plant-based meals fulfill the growing need for people to have flavoursome, nutritional food that is also convenient and fits their busy lifestyles.”

Millard also unveiled the company is working on new products to extend its range further in the $1 billion Australian prepared meals market.
