Ethical pet-food company Open Farm launches in Australia

US premium pet-food brand Open Farm has launched a fully traceable range of pet foods into the Australian market.

The company says it wants to raise the bar on how pet owners feed their four-legged family members, offering ethically sourced ingredients to ensure their pet’s health and wellbeing.

Open Farm offers a healthy nutritious pet-food range, including dry and wet recipes for both cats and dogs, without added flavours, preservatives or fillers.

“Knowing nutrition is critical to our pets’ overall health and wellbeing,” said Isaac Langleben, co-founder and CEO at Open Farm. “Like every pet parent, we believe every animal needs love and kindness, which is why we only use ethically sourced ingredients from farmers who put their animals and the environment first.

“We believe every pet owner deserves to know where our food is coming from, which is why we offer complete transparency on what’s in the bag,” Langleben said.

Open Farm is also the first pet-food brand to partner with TerraCycle Australia to offer their customers a free national pet food bag recycling programme that supports Australian charities.

Open Farm pet products are available at its online store from $29.99.
