DIY carbonated beverage brand SodaStream has launched PepsiCo syrup flavours, allowing Australians to make their own ‘branded beverages’ at home.
Called ‘Pepsi for SodaStream’, the syrup range features five Pepsi’s popular flavours – Pepsi Max, Pepsi, 7Up, Miranda and Mountain Dew.
“Pepsi for SodaStream flavours is the result of two key players in the beverages industry coming together for the first time in Australia,” said Mark Fenton, MD of SodaStream.
“Aussies can now get the great taste by mixing it with sparkling water, while also feeling good about saving thousands of single-use plastic bottles.”
The Pepsi syrups are sold at major retailers for RPP $7.
SodaStream was acquired by PepsiCo in 2018 for US$3.2 billion as part of the beverage giant’s move to diversify its business away from sugary sodas.
