Convenience-store chain 7-Eleven has further expanded its retail network in Victoria, opening three new stores last month.
The three new stores are located in Doreen and Alfredton and in Collins St in Melbourne’s CBD. They take the Victorian network to more than 230.
“The year has been challenging across retail and other sectors, but we’ve been able to adapt and stay on course to grow,” said Braeden Lord, GM of retail operations at 7-Eleven.
The company said the new stores will allow local people in Doreen and Alfredton to access a 7-Eleven for the first time, while the new Melbourne store will serve city workers and shoppers as they return to the CBD post lockdown.
“By bringing the 7-Eleven offer to new locations and communities, we are pleased to be able to create new jobs,” Lord said. “This is particularly important in the wake of Covid-19.”
