Tasmania’s Moo Brew launches fresh new brand

Tasmanian craft brewery Moo Brew has introduced a new sub-brand called ‘Brew by Moo Brew’ to its existing portfolio.

The first product in the new range is Brew Tassie lager, described as featuring “a crisp malt bill, subtle hop notes and low bitterness”.

“For the first product in our new range we wanted to make something unfussy, modern and downright drinkable,” said Jack Viney, head brewer at Moo Brew, Tasmania’s largest independent craft beer company. “ The Brew Tassie ticks all those boxes.”

Brew Tassie Lager features a tagline “Don’t overthink it”. The company also plans to expand the Brew by Moo Brew range with more flavours and styles in the near future.

“The range is another chance for us to show drinkers what the company has to offer. And we’re only just getting started,” said Lauren Sheppard, GM at Moo Brew.

The new lager has been launched at this month’s Mona’s high-summer festival of music and arts, Mona Foma which runs until January 25. Following the festival, the beer will be available at bottle shops and select on-premise venues.
