Discount chain The Reject Shop is expanding its Tesco product range with new cult favourite grocery items from the UK.
According to the company, the initial delivery last year of three months’ worth of stock sold through in one month, exceeding expectations from the supplier.
The successful launch resulted from the high demand for cheaper alternatives since the Covid-19 pandemic hit. The range is now fully stocked again with an exclusive product line added.
The expanded product line consists of 16 items, ranging from Tesco’s chocolate bar, golden syrup, tuna chunks in brine, olive oil, sweets, liquorice twists to spaghetti rings.
The Reject Shop partnered with the UK-based retailer to launch its products across The Reject Shop’s outlets in Australia last September. The distribution agreement take effective for three years.
