Philadelphia meets Cadbury to create marble-inspired spread

South Australian manufacturer Philadelphia has teamed with Cadbury to introduce a marble-inspired cream cheese.

The marble-inspired Philadelphia is the second collaboration with Cadbury after the Caramilk-inspired Philadelphia in 2019.

“Like Caramilk, Cadbury Dairy Milk Marble is a cult classic among chocolate lovers,” said Paul Chatfield, senior marketing director at Mondelez International. “People went crazy for Caramilk-inspired Philadelphia in 2019.”

The company said the number of orders for Philadelphia Cream Cheese increased last year as Aussies spent more time at home baking during the lockdown.

“Even as life returns to the new-normal this year, we’ve seen people want to continue baking at home and share their delicious treats with family and friends,” the company said in a statement.

The new cream cheese edition can be used for bagels, pancakes or as an ingredient in Cadbury marble-inspired desserts.

The marble-inspired Philadelphia cream cheese will be available in Australia and New Zealand for a limited time.
