Minor Figures launches nation’s first light oat milk

Plant-based business Minor Figures has rolled out Light Oat Milk in Australia meeting the rising demand for more milk alternatives in the market.

Research shows the alternative milk market grew by 13 per cent last year, with oat milk gaining popularity in Australia, leading in grocery sales in the last 12 months. More cafes are also using oat milk for coffee.

Light Oat Milk uses Minor Figures Barista Oat that is low in sugar and fat. Minor Figures says the milk substitute is healthier and sustainable, requiring less water to produce compared with cow’s milk and most other milk alternatives.

Minor Figures was started in an East London microbrewery by Jonathan Chiu, William Rixon and Stuart Forsyth. It is currently available in 20 countries.

Light Oat Milk is available at Woolworths and independent grocers.
